Dear Members, Future Members, Colleagues, and Friends:
We truly have re-energized our chapter these past 2 years as evidenced by the substantial increase in membership and participation. Now I am looking forward to the next step of evolution as a chapter and am focusing our efforts by adopting 3 general principles for the upcoming year. These principles will be the framework for the direction your Board will take and are as follows:
1) To be the premier customer service, forward thinking chapter
2) Be an essential resource for you and the Corporate Real Estate Industry in general
3) Establish governance and operational models which allow transparency and compliance with our parent, Corenet Global, and governmental entities
I truly believe we can realize these goals and objectives. We are a young chapter, with a lot of promise and desire to grow, but we will be needing your help and expertise to do so. In closing, I am reminded of a quote by John F. Kennedy who some 50 years ago said:
"We choose to go to the moon. We choose to go to the moon in this decade and do the other things, not because they are easy, but because they are hard, because that goal will serve to organize and measure the best of our energies and skills, because that challenge is one that we are willing to accept, one we are unwilling to postpone, and one which we intend to win, and the others, too”
Participation within the Southeast Florida Chapter community is what distinguishes CoreNet Global from other similar organizations. Participation through peer-to-peer networking, attendance at events, building new programs is how Southeast Florida Chapter members make the most out of their CoreNet Global membership.
